Thank you and God Bless xx by Dani Peterson 7 years ago Sarah, my Nana just passed away, and I have been struggling with writing something to her for her funeral.
I want to read your poem at her funeral.
We are all so lucky to have had such a wonderful lady in our lives. Just wanted to say thank you for posting this poem.
Thank you so much for posting this because I see many have used it to help themselves and their family during their time of grief. You get in the car right now! He was not a fan of the couple directly in front of him.
Do not worry, I will not take credit for this poem. If only she knew how many people she touched. I hope you continue with your talent for writing!
Thank you for your awesome words. They will all be missed and I wish you good luck and stay strong. Your words are deep and meaningful. I loved her more than words can say my brother and I read your poem at her funeral. She just repeated how handsome he was.
She sounded so happy, and so lucky that she had such a handsome husband. But just in case, I pulled out my actual ring and put it on so she could see. Actually, my favourite recent story of her is when I told her Evan and I were engaged.
I hope she is surrounded by all her favourite foods now and is just going to town on them. Yours stands out and delivers what I want to say. Her funeral is tomorrow the 28th and I was looking for the perfect words to say and found them here in your poem. Considerate of others until the end.
My Nana passed away one week and three days ago. I lost my Nana on Sunday 18th SeptemberShe was the most wonderful and caring person. Keep up the great work. They mean a lot to me and I loved reading them. No more Turtles and cookies!
I went to visit her when we got home from Cuba, and I wanted to tell her the news in a visual way since by this point she was nearly completely deaf. Posted on January 20, 16 comments Thank you so much for your lovely messages about my Nana. She could only eat soft things and liquids.

Long time readers of my blog may remember this in previous years because the highlight of the barbecue is an Elvis tribute artist. My point is, going RVing isn’t just pulling your rig into a stall and sitting under your awning for your entire trip. You are an RVer, and being an RVer, that means you are a born explorer, a vagabond by nature with souls of gypsies.
